FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

capesthorne hall cheshire wedding photography, bride and grooms first dance
  • Can we meet before booking?

Absolutely yes! Since I will be with you both all day, it’s important that you feel comfortable around me. I always like to do a video call first, then meeting in person for the final consultation. I am always a phone call away for any questions though.

  • How far will you travel?

There is no limit to that question! I am happy to travel anywhere for your wedding! I will just need to consider whether I have another Wedding the day before or after your wedding during peak seasons.

  • What are you prices?

I don’t like to hide or add extra charges, so you will find all my up to date prices on my Prices page.

  • When do we need to pay the full amount?

The final amount is due 14 days before your Wedding day. I will send a reminder along with other information.

  • Do you visit the venue before the wedding day?

Experience has shown this not to be very productive. The natural light will always be different from day to day. I always arrive early, and when at new venues I will have a good walk around the premises to pick out key spots, with over 6 years experience you don’t need to worry.

  • Do we get group shots?

Yes, My style is to capture your day naturally as events happen. I do however understand that having those group shots with your close family can be precious. I try to keep group shots to 6-10 shots. Taking more will take up all the free time and mean missing out on the natural, candid photos which my couple’s book me for. If these are a must, you may be better suited with a more traditional styled photographer.

  • Is it just yourself photographing?

Me myself and I, I typically work alone at Weddings (not including other suppliers) and follow the bride during the morning preparations. I do have some close contacts for a second photographer who will capture the alternative morning and get a different perspective through the ceremony. This can be a good option for large ceremonies.

  • Do we pay a deposit?

I just ask for a 20% deposit to secure your date.

  • Do we need to feed you?

Who would say no to food! Providing me with food is not a requirement, as I will always bring food and snacks to see me through the day – However after a non stop day it certainly won’t be turned down.

  • How long until we get our photos?

I aim to get your images delivered to you around 4-8 weeks -depending on workload. It will never be any longer.

  • Are you insured?

100%, I have public Liability and professional indemnity insurance which I can provide proof upon request.
